Thanks to the effort of among other Stan Gipman, Nijmegen wil have its own Professor Schillebeeckxplein (square). As Stichting Edward Schillebeeckx we are excited. And what a perfect location, adjacent to the Dominican Church and nearby the Albertinum where Schillebeeckx studies and lived for years, and where he is buried now. Close to the Radboud University Nijmegen, where he lectured, then named Catholic University Nijmegen. What a beautiful homage.
At 28 June Jean-Marc Chanton graduated magna cum laude at the Theologischen Fakultät Luzern on his dissertation “Lebenserfahrung und Glaubenserfahrung im Gespräch. Dimensionen von Erfahrung in der Theologie von Edward Schillebeeckx”.
